Last year I was in Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai. I fell in love with that cities. I liked Chinese cuisine. I was inspired by the images Chinese cities. However, Chinese language and culture were much more interesting for me. When we took a taxi then , I wasn't able to understand any word of a driver, That time I had understood, that I have to learn Chinese language.
I have chosen your university ,because of it's location and climate. I like Guangdong province for it's proximity to the sea. But the main thing isn't location , of course . I'm sure that Guangdong university of foreign studies can offer me affordable and at the same time interesting courses of Chinese language. Program Description
1. Program Introduction

- Students who are in elementary and above-level are eligible for immediate enrollment.
- This program has different kinds of duration to meet individual needs.
- The study duration can be 4 weeks, 8 weeks, half year, 1 year and/or up to several years.
2. Program Structure
Editor Notes: This program can be divided into 4 levels.
- Applicants can choose the class level which contains introductory, elementary, intermediate and advanced Level.
- The class is arranged on Monday-Friday: 8:30am-11:30am, 13:00pm-16:00pm.
- The class is arranged on Monday-Thursday: 18:30pm-20:00pm (for extracurricular course includes Wushu, Chinese calligraphy, Cantonese, Paper cutting,etc).

Applicants under 18 years of age need to have parent/guardian in GuangZhou, and please to provide the following materials
Parent’s or guardian’s proof of identity
For GuangZhou residents: please provide proof of residency and a copy of ID card (check against original)
A notarized letter of guarantee
Please notify it is entrusted by applicants’ parent or guardian, to bear custody and guardian responsibilities, to guarantee dependant/applicant will depart as scheduled and specific period of custody or guardianship, etc.*2. Non-criminal Record Certificate
-Please note that this document is valid for only 3 months. For instance, if you submit your -application in April, your non-criminal record must have been issued no earlier than January.
-Obtain a police clearance certificate from the local police station where you currently reside, confirming no criminal record in the past 6 months at the time of application.
-You need to translated it into CHINESE if it is not in Chinese; Then you need to get it notarized by local notary office and then get it certified by local Chinese embassy; If your country has joined the HAGUE convention then just do the Chinese translation and Apostille; Then you may need to mail original copy of non-criminal record and translation & certified(or Apostille) documents to the university in China.
-If you are currently in China, the certificate must be issued by the local Chinese police.*3. Resume
-Please type your resume, not handwrite it. It is required to fill in the student' s learning and working experience from primary school to now(Dates in the educational background should be consecutive and accurate to the month, with a break of no more than 2 months) . No missing time is allowed and no blank should be left. Please refer to the template to fill in both Chinese and English(you can use a translator or ask your friends), the information should be accurate. Students are required to sign by hand. After filling in the form, send the electronic version to us by email.
-Then you may need to mail original copy documents to the university in China.*4. Photocopy of passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included
*5. Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant
6. Photocopy of valid visa
Only for the applicants who are in China and hold visa.
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - Video
